On July 29th BMWTrueNorth hosted the Photo Booth area at Importfest with seven of our models, two modded BMW cars, and two modded BMW motorbikes! We had a great time, and saw some of our club members go home with trophies. You can check out the photo Album by CLICKING HERE.
On June 3rd 2023, Driven Toronto was held at Square One Mississauga. The event was a success as usual, and the staff at Driven did a great job organizing the event. We had our own booth, and our BMWTN models walk around taking photos with some of the BMWs at the event. You can enjoy our Photo Album By Clicking Here. BMWTN walked away with best BMW, Best overall, and the founder of the club, Nick Maroulis, won the OG award for his ongoing involvement in the car scene in Toronto over the past decade. Overall a successful event that we enjoy coming back to every year!
This year, BMWTrueNorth was back at Pearson Aiport taking part in Orbis Canada’s Plane Pull for Sight event. Our team competed to pull a 60-tonne FedEx 757 cargo plane 20 feet as fast as we could (In 2019 we held the fastest record). It’s all to raise money to support Orbis’s sight-saving work around the world and the worlds only eye flying hospital.

BMWTrueNorth was the third highest donating group at $4,521.00 We would like to thank everyone that donated to this cause and supported our group!
BMWTrueNorth also had the third highest top fundraiser, with Nick Maroulis collecting over $2,800.00

On May 7th 2023 our sponsor Parkview BMW opened their doors on a Sunday to host our Season Open Event in collaboration with Cars & Coffee Toronto BMW and UpNorth Club.
Even though it eventually rained hard for the remainder of the day, it did not hold back our club members that came out in full force filling up the dealership parking lot, and adjacent property.

On August 27th 2022 the first ever Bimmerfest Canada was hosted at Toronto Motorsports Park, with over 500 BMW’s in attendance. Marking it the largest BMW owner gathering in Canada. We are just over a week away from our 2021 Season End Show&Shine and Track Day! This year since we are combining both events (You can register online at our e-store), we have outlined how the day will unfold below for everyone. Keep in mind you can register for both the Track and Show&Shine Online until Friday Sept 24th. After that you can register at the event on Sunday Sept 26th in person.
9:00AM – 10:00AM
TRACK: Our track day starts at 9:00AM, so we ask everyone registered for the track to come for 9:00AM, we will be going over the rules/map at 9:30AM sharp!
SHOW&SHINE: We ask all our sponsors, vendors, and volunteers to come at 9:00AM and be ready by 10:00AM. BMWTN Staff will be on site from 8AM if you wish to come earlier.
10:00AM – 11:00AM
TRACK: We should be done all briefing and registration by this point. We will have the advanced group go on the track first, and we will have our own pro drivers take the beginners group on the track to show them the lines, rules, cones, etc.
SHOW&SHINE: For those participating in the Show&Shine you can come as early as 9:00AM. Please go to our main booth (Large 20×20 white tent) for your registration forms! And then our staff will show you where to park.
In addition, all spectators can also arrive at this time who do not wish to partake in the Show&Shine but want to still display their cars. We are having an area in the show for competitors and for spectators. Everyone is part of the event!
11:00AM – 4:00PM
TRACK: Open Lapping in 30 minute intervals between the beginners and advanced group throughout the day. We have the track until 4pm.
SHOW&SHINE: Judging for trophies will begin at 11AM, we highly suggest all participants in the show and shine be at the event by 11AM so they are not missed.
During this time there will be music, various games you can play just for fun or to win raffle tickets, food, and more.
4:00PM – 5:00PM
At 4PM we will be announcing the Trophy winners, the Best of Show Ace of Spades Bottle Trophy winners, the $600 Cash Raffle Winner, and the Raffle Prizes Winners! Once this is done the show will wrap up for the season.
Thank you to the over 80 BMW’s that joined us as we cruised up from Vaughan to Wasaga Beach through the scenic back roads of the city. We ended the cruise at a secure location next to the beach for some photos and good conversations with fellow BMW enthusiasts.

Greetings fellow BMWTrueNorth members and BMW enthusiasts in general. We would like to announce some schedule changes due to the COVID related Ontario wide lockdown which is currently in place. The main change is that our May 16th Track Day and Season Open Event will be moved to July 25th. Our Sept 12th Track Day is remaining as is, and we are now looking into whether we will add an August or October track day. If we do not add a third track day, those that purchased a season pass for all track days will get a partial refund. For now we play it be ear, and we will continue to do all we can to make this an eventful season. Get ready for a lot of events between July – October.

After some delays due to COVID-19 we are happy to inform everyone that our custom metal etched VIP cards for the 2020 season have arrived! We will be sending them to our local etching company tomorrow (Friday June 19th) to get the cards etched with your names/membership numbers. Anyone that ordered a card from Nov 1st 2019 to today will have their card ready by end of next week to be shipped out to the address you provided on our e-store.
We are only making 250 of these cards every year. Thank you to the 120 people that have already ordered their card. Due to the COVID-19 situation we are changing our mid-season meet to an online virtual Show and Shine event, with raffles prizes, and ending in a live video web chat where we can all announce the winners and prizes together. The event will happen in three stages outlined below, starting May 11th, and ending on May 28th.
People can either register for $5.00 to compete in their category, or they can register for $5.00 to receive 3 raffle tickets for our online raffle prizes. Winners will be chosen live on May 28th, everyone can join the video web chat.
Please see instructions below, and if you want to sign up you can do so at our e-store (link to e-store at top menu).
Stage 1 Registration: May 11th – 17th
– Visit our e-store and choose to sign up for the mid-season show and shine event. It only costs $5.00 (VIP members will get their entry fee reimbursed).
– There will be a list of categories you can choose from to compete in.
– When you sign up make sure to include at least one photo of your car, as well as a detailed description of your modifications.
– You have until May 17th to register for the show and shine.
– There will also be an option to buy raffle tickets (3 tickets for $5.00). Winners will also be chosen live on the May 28th video web chat. The option to buy raffle tickets will remain online until May 24th.
Stage 2 Public Online Voting: May 18th – 24th
– Visit our website’s main page on May 18th and you will find a link to all the categories and competitors.
– A picture of each person’s car as well as a description of their mods will be listed to help each person decide a winner.
– You will be able to vote once a day on every category until the voting closes on May 24th.
– Make sure to tell your friends to vote!
Stage 3 Live Online Web Chat with Winners Announced: May 28th
– On May 28th our website will post a link to join us live from BMW Parkview to announce the winners of each category.
– The live video web chat will start at 7pm on May 28th.
– Winners will be announced for the Show and Shine.
– Winners will be announced for the raffle prizes.
– Won prizes will be mailed out to each winner.
Common Questions and Answers:
How many categories can I register for?
– Each $5.00 registration is for one category. Choose wisely, or register multiple times if you want to take part in different categories
What do the winners get for the Show and Shine?
– We will not be handing out trophies. Trophies will only be done for our Season End Show and Shine in September. For this event every winner will get a swag bag from BMW which will include BMW merchandise. Value of each package approx. $100.00
– You also get bragging rights as we will keep the results online on our website.
How many entries per category?
– We will try to limit it to 10-15 entries per category.
– Minimum of 2 entries per category is necessary, otherwise the category will be removed, and people will be refunded.
What if I cant join the online video web chat?
– All winners will be posted on our website on May 29th for people to see. It will remain on the website for the foreseeable future.
How do I know if my raffle tickets are in the draw?
– When someone orders raffle tickets online, you will get a confirmation they have been received and it will automatically produce three tickets that are printed out for us to use on the day of the raffle.
– The raffle winners will be chosen live on May 28th for everyone to see via the video web chat.
– Make sure to include your delivery address when you purchase raffle tickets so we know where to deliver the prizes.
Can sponsors take part in the event?
– Instead of providing tents at the event for sponsors to showcase their services/parts, any sponsors that want to take part in the live video web cast can let Nick Maroulis know via nickm@bmwtn.com or via facebook, and we will have the option for you to speak to everyone live on the video web chat. The 2018 Canadian International Autoshow in Toronto starts today and carries on through to Feb 25th 2018. We had the pleasure of checking out the show yesterday when the media was invited to get a sneak peak of the show and everything it had to offer. The Autoshow is a major production, filling both the North and South Building of Metro Convention Center in downtown Toronto, its a feat that takes a lot of work, and you could tell as you walked around that everyone was still rushing to get everything ready by the evenings VIP event.
There are a lot of special features in this year’s autoshow, and car enthusiasts will be lining up to see the world’s fastest car in the world, and the owner of five world speed records; the Koenigsegg Agera RS supercar (North Building, Level 100). Not only that, but Mr.Koenigsegg himself was there taking photos with the media, and they even started the car up for everyone to enjoy the grumbling monster as it came to life. In addition, there are a lot of other features ranging from the beautifully put together 70 Years of Porsche Gallery (North Building, Level 100) to the fun 50 Year Anniversary of Hot Wheels (South Building, Level 700) with a huge hot wheels track for adults and kids alike to enjoy playing with, plus a cool selection of hot wheels cars brought to life in 1:1 scale real car recreations. The autoshow seems to be catering to the younger crowd more, or simply wants to have more fun, given the amount of racing simulators all over the place, and other fun activities. Full scale storm trooper armor was a cool touch for people to take photos with. I enjoyed the lego area in Ford’s section (South Building, Level 800); the kids will love it, if the adults don’t hog the area all for themselves.
But let’s talk BMW, and what you can expect to see at the show (South Building, Level 800). BMW’s booth is the same layout as the past two years, which if we are going to be honest here, is a little disappointing. From what we have been told from colleagues that help build the displays for each dealership, they are usually re-used for 3-4 years with slight tweaks each year, and we hope they actually revamp it for next year. We BMW guys are tired of the Mercs enjoying their second level VIP area, as they look down at us like peasants from across the showroom floor. We should at least bring a ladder and try and storm their castle next year if nothing changes.
BMW Canada provided a strong line-up at the show as always, and we were there in time to listen to BMW Canada’s President Hans Blesse keynote address which was heavily focused on today’s shift to electrical vehicles, and their plans for the future. The presentation ended with the reveal of the new BMW M4 CS, and BMW i8 Roadster. We summarized below some key items Mr. Blesse noted:
At this point, Mr. Blesse announced 5 vehicles at the show which were revealed: The BMW 530e, the X5 40e, the all new i3s, the BMW i8 coupe, and the Mini Couper SC Countryman All4.
Forty new and revised models will be released by BMW in the next 24 months, which is a significantly ambitious target to reach. The result would be the youngest and most sought out fleet in the premium vehicle market today.
Matthew Wilson, BMW Canada’s National Product Manager introduced the next wave of model performance productions, starting with the reveal of the 2019 M4 CS; the first time it has been in Canada. You can take a close up look at the car at the autoshow, and it’s a beautifully crafted machine that sits on top of the M4 Competition package and borrows light weight technology first found on the M4 GTS. You can check out all the specifications for this car online, but basically it’s boasted as a lighter, faster version of the M4 Competition package. The M4 CS will arrive this summer with only 90 units destined to make its way to Canadian shores.
Kevin Marcotte, BMW Canada’s Director of Marketing introduced and revealed the last car covered up at the show; the i8 roadster. The roadster has a fully electric top that retracts within just 15 seconds. Boosted horsepower and refined battery give it a greater range and distance, with a combined 369hp, and zero to one hundred in 4.6 seconds. The i8 on display at the show is one of only 200 First Edition models produced for the global market. 25 of which will be available for Canadian customers. Personally we like the look of it, and while motorsport enthusiasts aren’t too fond of the i8 series in general, we think it’s starting to solidify itself within the BMW brand. Please make an i9 that looks like an i8, but has the power of a supercar, and everyone will be happy.
The new BMW M5 is also on display at the show, and it’s one of the nicest version of the beastly M5 that we have seen. It’s definitely worth taking a look. Additional BMW models are also on display for everyone to see from the X5, X3, 2 series, 3 series, and much more.
Overall BMW has provided a concise range of their cars on display for everyday consumers to motorsport junkies alike to enjoy. Our Season Show&Shine Event was on September 25th at PFAFF BMW. We want to thank all our club members, sponsors, and supporters that made it out to our event. It was our largest gathering to date, and a strong showing that BMWTrueNorth is the number one BMW enthusiasts club in Ontario. We look forward to continuing to offer this event every year as a platform for all BMW owners to come together and celebrate the best of German engineering. We had a wonderful time attending the Berlin Klassik Island Tour this year. The new venue was amazing, and it was definitely one of the highlights of the season. This year we took Importfest by storm setting up a 2,500 sq.ft display area with 10 of our club members cars, and a photoshoot area with all of our BMWTN models. Needless to say we were one of the highlights of the show. We want to thank all our club members that trusted us with their cars, and all our staff and models that stuck with us all day long to promote the club! This year BMWTN had a VIP event at the Canadian Heritage Warplane Museum. Our VIP club members enjoyed spending the day with their families exploring the museum while also having a rare opportunity of having their BMW’s photographed with the planes. Overall an amazing day and we look forward to returning in the future.
On May 29th 2016 TrueNorth Enthusiasts Group held a season open meet for its clubs: BMWTN, MBTN, and AudiTN hosted at Eurocharged Canada.

We survived our first VIP event! If it were not for our amazing sponsor Eurocharged Canada hosting a wonderful venue indoors we would have had to battle the elements as hail and high winds were coming down all day long. And still, we had a full house of cars and members come out to join us for a day on the dyno as we treated our VIP members to free food, music and good company. This even was for VIP card members only and showed our appreciation for their support. Can’t wait until our next one! On December 13th, BMWTN held our second annual Charity Toy Drive, and it was a huge success with over 350 toys collected for the Toys for Tots program to help children less fortunate this coming holiday season. We want to thank all our club members that took the time to come out, whether it was for the whole event, or just for a brief hello while dropping off some toys, we truly appreciate everyone’s dedication to make this event a success.
We could tell from the conversations being had, and the overall vibe of the day that even though we have only been around for a few years, we are already a strongly knit community that is willing to come together for others. We couldn’t be prouder to be part of this group with all of you. We were totally blown away with all the toys that were collected!!
We also want to thank Restyleit (Andre Wilde Dmitri Restyleit) for hosting the start point of the event, and Pfaff BMW (Laurance Yap, Chris Chua, Barry Kwan) for hosting the end point of our toy drive, and opening their dealership on a Sunday for us.
We also presented Rob Ferguson with a cheque for the $4,500.00 TrueNorthEG raised throughout the season from our club members and sponsors for Olliestrong. And we will continue to be there for Oliver and the Ferguson family for the long run. We look forward to seeing Oliver have his bone marrow transplant and kick this illness in the butt for good. Thank you to Gary Grant from the Toronto Star as well that did an editorial for our event.

As the weather has begun to change calling for the end of the season, we often turn to our sponsors with adequate interior space to see if they are willing to host a meet for our club members before we put our cars away for the winter, or swap over those ugly winter rims and fat tires. This year Elite Custom Storage & Transport welcomed us to their secure facility for one last BBQ meet of the year.
Often people outside of the club ask why we engaged a Vehicular Storage facility, as many of our club members either drive or store their cars away for the winter. However, what we have seen is club members using Elite for car storage, and even more so using them for transport. In addition, Elite is a good example of what we believe to be successful marketing through exposure. By having them out at our events and supporting our club members, in turn they have garnered business from fellow car enthusiasts.
We want to thank Sean Hugh and his wife for taking the time to host this event for us, and for contributing a prize to our raffle for a canvas print of our club member’s car at the photoshoot session also occurring at the event. Sean also went out of his way to get catered food for everyone, hire our guys from Feedback Services to spin music for us all day, and call in their staff to help facilitate everything in an organized manner. We truly enjoyed our time there, and loved the new renovations to their complex.
We look forward to having them as a sponsor once again next year, as we hear their services will expand to provide tire storage at $75.00 a set (they come pick them up and drop them off at your house), and a car detailing servicing area within their building. Even more reasons that they are a great fit for our club.
We also want to take the time to thank our BMWTN model Whitney Cole that handled the private photoshoot all day long on her own. In the last hours leading up to the event we decided with Elite to have a private photoshoot session with one of our models in a secure area of the complex if they donated to our charity. That meant we needed to find a model quickly. Whitney is always a busy lady, so we really appreciate the time and effort she took to re-juggle her schedule and work the photoshoot on her own.

This year we decided to do a different route as the ones previously taken were starting to get a little rough. Special thanks as always to Mike for organizing our route this year. We tested it out a few weeks back on September 19th which was our originally scheduled day, but the forecast was calling for rain. We invited anyone that wanted to tag along to come test out the new route, and it was actually quite a big gathering.
We found some issues with the new route, refined it, and then officially set out as a club on Sunday October 18th for our Muskoka Loop adventure. This page includes photographs from MC Photography that took photos on our Sept 19th run, and photographs from Nikoley Kachev that took photos on our Oct 18th run. Special thanks to them both for doing this.
Our route took us to a Marina for photos, and a new restaurant spot that we will be using for future events in Muskoka. One of our biggest turns outs for a cruise was a fitting end to an amazing season.
This year (September 27th 2015) marked our third annual Show&Shine Season End Event. For the first time we combined forces with out sister clubs MBTrueNorth and AudiTrueNorth for a huge party. The event was hosted at PFAFF BMW where their staff graciously offered to make their facility available to us for the day.
PFAFF BMW went out of their way to open their doors on a Sunday, clear their adjacent lot of hundreds of cars so we can have an open area to run our event, and brought in other supporting companies such as SiriusXM Radio, Pirelli Tires, and we even had a visit from BMW Canada.
We want to thank all our sponsors noted below in our 2015 Tent Backdrop that helped us financially make this season possible and supported us throughout the year at events. Please take the time to visit their website as they provide some of the best services our city has to offer.
In the end we filled the entire block with an amazing show of German engineering. Feedback Services held their own behind the DJ booth blasting music throughout the day for our club members and sponsors. This event always brings out our sponsors to set up their own booth, and its truly an example of the entire TrueNorth community coming together for a greater cause. Oliver and Rob joined us for the day along with his wife and daughter, and at the end of the event we raffled off our Grand Prize trip for two to an all inclusive Iberostar 5-star resort in PlayaMita, Puerto Vallarta for seven days.
We continued to run a raffle for thousands of dollars of BMW swag, and the Show and Shine competition awards some of our club members though if we could, everyone would have gone home with a trophy. Some of the highlights of the say included:

Our annual Wasaga Beach cruise will took us through some back roads up to Wasaga Beach where we all got together for a photoshoot and lunch before heading back to Toronto. We were fortunate to arrive just when they were removing barriers from a bicycle marathon, which allowed us to roll in and take over the entire boardwalk with our club cars. It was an amazing sight to see!! Thanks so much to the over 100 cars that showed up for this cruise, we had lots of fun 🙂
On August 22nd 2015 BMWTrueNorth made a big splash for the first time ever taking part in Importfest. We had a large area with over 20 club members cars taking part this year, including an E92 LibertyWalks which won second place best BMW.
We want to thank all our sponsors, staff members, and club members that came out that day to show their support and help us setup our own area. A big thank you to our club member Jason that not only brought our his six series BMW to show his support, but also hired models Jasmine and Melody as additional BMWTN models.
Also we want to thank our models Bree Leigh and Whitney Cole that only spent the entire day with us, but also sold signed posters with all proceeds going towards our charity cause for the season. These two women rock, and we are proud to have them as our models.

On July 12th 2015 TrueNorthEG hosted its most ambitious event ever. We booked out the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton and invited all our TrueNorth clubs (BMWTN, MBTN, and AudiTN) to celebrate the mid-season with a photoshoot and lunch event with the warplanes. Two special prizes of a free flight in a warplane was also awarded by the end of the day!
This was truly an amazing experience for us all, and a real challenge for our staff in the smouldering hot day to organize the near 300 cars that attended. We want to thank Feedback Services for pumping the tunes all day long, and all our amazing models that dealt with the heat while being photographed with our club member’s cars and the warplanes stationed around the area for us by the museum.
We also want to thank our volunteer photographers that dedicated their day to helping us make this event possible. Kostas, Chris, Deep, Vlad, and Kazim all did an amazing job, and we are truly grateful for their assistance.
We hope the museum enjoyed our presence there as we would definitely love to come back again. We had wonderful feedback from our club members and this truly proved to be one of the highlights of the year for us.
On July 18th BMWTrueNorth came out to support the Olliestrong Charity Car Wash hosted at Kipling Tire. It was a really hot day, and perfect weather to get some cars shinning like new for a good cause. We want to thank all our club members and friends that came out to show their support for Oliver. On June 6th 2016 BMWTN was invited by Canadian Race Wars at a lapping day at Toronto Motorsport Park aka Cayuga. Instructors for first timers or anyone that feels the need for some lessons was offered all day long, and a cap of 40 cars was placed for the day. Overall everyone had a great time, and the weather was cooperating with us. We look forward to more club members coming out throughout the season.

On May 24th 2015, BMW of Mississauga (Pfaff BMW) opened their doors to our club members on a beautiful Sunday morning. Our club members came out in full force filling up the parking lot and adjacent road. Thankfully, unlike our season opener, this time around the weather was in our favor, resulting in an amazing day overall.
From 10:00am to 1:30pm we spent our time at BMW of Mississauga enjoying the great weather and taking advantage of some stellar deals on cleaning products provided by the dealership, aside from the already amazing 20% off all accessories and parts our members get year round. Music, sweets, and coffee were provided by Pfaff BMW for everyone in attendance. We had our BMWTN models on hand with our professional photographers, and a drone up in the air to cover the event. Overall it was a great time, and a wonderful display of our members cherished BMW’s. We had new and old members come together, and we couldn’t ask for a better group to spend our time with.

At 1:30pm we did a raffle for two BMW watches provided by Pfaff BMW, and four pairs of BMW sunglasses provided by BMWTrueNorth. A special thank you to 3DProducts Canada that also included some of their sample products in the raffle.
After the raffle was completed, we headed out in cruise formation to Pfaff Automotive’s Pfaff Tuning location in Woodbridge to get a back of the house tour of their facilities. The temptation for a serious upgrade was felt by everyone in attendance. Pfaff Tuning offers a wide variety of performance, aerodynamic and appearance upgrades for a range of premium import manufacturers, including Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen. Their showroom was an impressive display for any automotive enthusiast. If you haven’t visited their facility, we highly recommend you pay them a visit. Maybe leave the credit cards at home, resisting a purchase will be the hardest part of the day.
After the tour of Pfaff Automotive we cruised over to Pfaff Autoworks to get a back of house tour of their facility as well, which is regarded as one of the top body shops in Canada. We also enjoyed the sound of revving custom racing cars that were displayed for our club members to see and hear in all their glory. As an automotive collision repair facility that services all makes and models of vehicles, we highly recommend Pfaff Autoworks for any of your vehicle repairs, regardless of year or model.

On May 30th 2015 BMWTrueNorth had our first annual Niagara Winery Cruise. Over 100 BMW’s from our club got together and we headed towards the Niagara region enjoying the winding roads and beautiful weather. One of our main goals was to get everyone through the underground tunnel together which was a fun and very loud experience that everyone enjoyed.
After the tunnel run we stopped at the Two Sisters Vineyard Estate where we all took pictures in their private location and enjoyed a light snack. We look forward to seeing them again in 2016.
We then cruised to the Port Dalhousie Pier Marina for more amazing photos, and ended our cruise at a lunch spot nearby.

Our 2015 Season Open BBQ Meet, and first official meet of BMWTrueNorth and MBTrueNorth coming together under one event went down on April 19th 2015. We want to thank Eurocharged Canada who is not only one of our sponsors for 2015, but also hosted this event for us. Their staff spent the week leading up to this event tiding up the shop and preparing for an amazing turnout at their doorsteps.
While we were happy to see that it would not rain on Sunday, the weather was not completely in our favor. Strong winds made it difficult for us to set up properly, and that struggle was shared by our sponsors that came at 10:00am to arrange their own areas. While our staff tried to find a place to tie down our own tent, we could see at the corner of our eye SimplyTire’s area tumbling over due to the wind. Eventually, we all used the resources around us to hold the fort down, and it didn’t stop people from coming either. Though the start time was 11:00am, we had people coming in at 10:30am, and by 11:30am we had filled the entire area, plus the adjacent lot!

Inside Eurocharged Canada, the scene was always packed with people taking a look at their new shop, and current projects. We ended the day inside with our raffle announcement prizes, which included authentic BMW sunglasses, Mercedes-Benz swag, and the grand prize of a free tune courtesy of Eurocharged Canada.
This aerial photo taken at approximately 2:30pm tells the tale pretty clearly, and this was near the end of the show. We counted over 400+ cars from the drone shots. We can only imagine what the attendance was in the morning when the entire area was jammed to capacity.
Signature Motor Car Inc. was kind enough to bring several supercars to our meet, including a beautiful Huracan Lamborghini, and this sexy white i8 with custom wheels to match.
If one i8 was not enough, our sponsor GetDetailed also brought one of their clients i8 for us all to enjoy.
Our beautiful BMWTrueNorth models Bree, Jolanta, and Rachael were on scene to take photos with our sponsor and club member cars. On March 6th 2015 the doors at Nashville North, Georgetown opened its doors to host the first ever ACE Fighting Championships event. This is the first of five premier amateur events scheduled for 2015. The intent is for these five events to lay the foundation necessary to launch professional MMA events in 2016. BMWTrueNorth had the pleasure of attending the event, we had our own section for our members, and enjoyed the fights, the venue, the ring girls and the overall excitement present by all those in attendance. As our first Amateur MMA experience, it went beyond our expectations.
While this was an amateur event, you could tell that all the MMA fighters were experienced in their craft, as every fight was thrilling to watch. Overall 10 bouts were presented throughout the event, with the last 5 bouts being title fights in their respective weight classes. From the nimble and quick 135 LBS contenders to the 225+ LBS heavyweights, every fighter gave it their all in the octagon for the 800 fans in attendance. Spectators saw fast paced sparring, technical grappling, stand-up knock-outs, and submission knock-outs throughout the night. The crowd was electric throughout, and the overall ambiance was something that you could tell was a success within the first hour of the bouts.
BMWTrueNorth took over part of the VIP section on the ground level. We loved the unobstructed view of the octagon, and we were able to see all the action up close and personal. When the fight was taken to the mat, the venue had large screens all around to ensure every spectator in the building could see every second of the action. The event was also streamed online live from their website, just as their weight-ins were streamed live the night before. Overall the event was very well organized.
The upper floor VIP section also had some special guests including fighters from the UFC. The greatest response from the 800 people in attendance was when professional boxing heavyweight George Chuvalo was introduced to the crowd. A Canadian boxing hero, Chuvalo fought Joe Frasier and George Forman in his prime, and is most famously known for going the distance twice with Muhammad Ali. “He is the toughest guy I have ever fought” said Ali after their first fight on March 29th, 1966.
What would an MMA event be without the beautiful ring girls? We were happy to suggest our very own BMWTN models Bree Leigh and Jolanta Agnieszka to Ivan Whittaker, the President of Ace Fighting Championships. They both did a fantastic job at getting the crowd up on their feet, and the dance showdown at intermission was quite the sight to see. Congrats ladies!

This year we started a new tradition of giving back to those less fortunate during the holiday season. When BMW of Mississauga called us asking if we could donate a few toys to their toy drive, we took the opportunity to make it into a BMWTN event for all of our members to participate in. We didn’t have much time to prepare, and we want to thank all those that came out on short notice – we ended up filling half an SUV with toys, and we cruised to the dealership to deliver the gifts!
The gifts were delivered to the Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter on Christmas Eve, and we couldn’t be happier to know that we were able to help single mothers spoil their loved little ones this holiday season. We would like to thank BMW of Mississauga for the invite, and we learned that out of all the Pfaff dealerships that were collecting toys, due to our help, BMW of Mississauga was at the top of the list for donations.
We look forward to planning a larger BMWTrueNorth Toy Drive in 2015, and we hope all our members will come out to support the cause!
We originally met at Colossus Vaughn where people passed by over a period of an hour to drop off toys, and then those that had the time cruised down to BMW of Mississauga.

Our newest sponsor BMW of Mississauga – Pfaff Automotive were enthusiastic about hosting one last big meet before the season ended. While we were uncertain if the turnout would be huge due to how late into the season it was, we were happily surprised to see our members come out and represent the club properly. We want to thank BMW of Mississauga’s staff for spending their Sunday off with us at the dealership.
BMW of Mississauga provided free food, a DJ, and a free raffle for three watches on the day of the event. We also brought out two of our models for some photo-shoots within the dealerships service bay, and we provided coffee and sweets for all those that came early in the day. The parts department was open, and we heard that some solid purchases were made throughout the day from our members. We are happy to report that BMW of Mississauga has agreed to be our sponsor for the 2015 season, and has offered to host two more events within the season. We find ourselves extremely fortunate to be partnered with such a well-respected company as Pfaff Automotive.

We want to first thank all the show sponsors that made this wonderful event possible: Restyleit, Elite Custom Car Storage, SimplyTire, NextMod, TNDetail, Kaiju Auto Salon, Alpha Motorsports, Eurocharged Canada, Pro Tuning Freaks, Intak Printing and StreetXtreme Automotive. We also want to thank Randy Sparre from Exoparts for providing us with raffle prizes at cost. A huge thank you as well to BMW of Mississauga and Pfaff Automotive for not only being one of the sponsors for the event, but also including a $1,200.00 BMW Bike for the raffle at no cost to the club. This also marked our first year hosting a Show&Shine Competition and we handed out trophies to all the winners.
Overall it was amazing to see the support from our BMWTrueNorth members; we were blown away by the numbers in attendance for our first Show&Shine event. Coupled with our sponsors that came out in full form by putting up tents and showcasing their services, the event really was something to be seen. We also has a jousting competition, live music, and our BMWTN models in attendance. We also tried to serve food via a BBQ area, which we must admit, could have been way better. We are already contacting food trucks now for the 2015 season end event!! Food services will definitely improve.
Congratulations to all the raffle ticket winners, and Show&Shine trophy winners. Special shout out to SimplyTire that did a special raffle for a set of golf clubs/bag, and to SweetieGirlRacing that donated a BMW Jacket for the raffle! You are all amazing, and we are humbled by your support.
